We all know Microsoft Edge as that browser that sometimes accidentally gets opened because you’re using Windows. But did you know some people actually have to use it all the time? They’re called Microsoft Professionals.
That was the plight of Michael Leworthy, director of Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Platform. He was giving a presentation on migrating workloads to Azure, when Edge kept crashing. So he did what anyone would do and installed Google Chrome.
He defends his company by saying that their machines get “locked down more than regular PCs and that might be causing the issue. A nice save – although his IT department can’t be happy with it!
The upside is that this video now has over 300,000 hits on Youtube, so it might get people subliminally thinking about Azure migrations.
